A boot on our neck?
while an American raises his idea with bold confidence, almost audacious pride and unshakable belief in his success, we Hungarians often feel as if we are lying face down in the mud, with a boot pressing on our neck.
The difference may simply be that while we Hungarians struggle, giving everything, holding nothing back as we follow our visions — we do not believe that those visions, even if they become reality, will truly reach people. Hungarians, Europe, the world…
